Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Mind Matters Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and Dr. Yujal Man Singh collect, why, and how we protect it. We follow Nepal’s laws on privacy and the professional duty of confidentiality that applies to all doctors.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email, country and time zone.
  • Booking and payment details: appointment times and payment confirmations. We do not store card numbers; card payments are handled by Khalti.
  • Clinical information: what you share in sessions, clinical notes, prescriptions, letters and reports.
  • Mood and progress surveys: short questionnaires you fill in before and after sessions, collected through a secure online form service (Jotform).
  • Website data: this website may use basic, anonymous statistics about visits. It also loads content from other services (Google Maps, Google Fonts and a Google reviews widget), which may see your IP address.

Why we use it

  • To book, run and follow up your appointments.
  • To provide safe clinical care and keep proper medical records.
  • To send you session links, reminders and payment details.
  • To measure whether treatment is helping you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share clinical information only:

  • with your consent, for example with your local doctor so they can prescribe for you;
  • when there is a serious risk to your life or someone else’s safety;
  • when the law requires it.

We use trusted services to run the practice, including WhatsApp, Google Meet, Google Workspace, Jotform and Khalti. Some of these store data outside Nepal.

Online sessions

Sessions by Google Meet are not recorded. Please join from a private place. Messages on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted, but please avoid sending very sensitive details by message if others can see your phone.

How long we keep records

We keep clinical records for as long as needed for your care and as required for medical records in Nepal. Contact details for enquiries that did not lead to an appointment are deleted when no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see a copy of your information, correct mistakes, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Email us and we will reply within 30 days.
