How treatment works

Treatment starts with a full assessment. We talk about what you are going through, your health, sleep, family and past, and agree a plan in plain language. Many problems get better with talking therapy alone. Some need medicine as well, sometimes for a while. We decide this together, and you can ask questions at every step.

Progress is measured. Before and after each session you fill in a short mood survey, so we can both see whether things are getting better. If they are not, we change the plan.

Who we see

Adolescents from 13 years, adults, couples and families, in person at Kuleshwor or online, in Nepali, English or Hindi. For children under 13, a child psychiatrist is the best choice.

Not on this list?

We also help with stress at work or study, grief, anger, relationship problems and settling into life abroad. If your concern is not listed, message us and ask.

Not sure what you are going through? That is normal. You do not need a diagnosis to book. The first session is a full assessment and a plan in plain language.

Filling in the Brief Mood Survey (BMS) form before and after each session is a must.
